Electric Vehicle (EV) verses the internal combustion engine (ice)
EV vehicles get more miles when driving in town then on the highway - ice vehicles get more miles driving on the highway then in town
EV'S get the best mileage with the motor at maximum RPM - ice vehicle's get the best mileage at low RPM'S
If you are a small business & have small delivery pickup trucks like auto parts stores do and you have a folklift you can extend your mileage by removing the barttery rack & replacing it with a fresh charged barttery rack. There for never buying gas again
Maintenance on an EV vehicle replace batterys every three to four years, replace body every twenty years -Maintenance on an ice vehicle, oil changes, hose, radiator antifreeze, emission controls, exhaust system, tune up's,engine repairs.
If you are spending $60.00 a week on gas then you will spend $12,480.00 in 4 years on gas -With an EV you will need new batterys in 4 years cost $2000.00
We sold a kit to a small company that has an F250 Ford super duty pick up truck used for deliverys they were spending $600.00 a week on fuel and now spend $50.00 ! becauses when they looked at what they were droping off they noted most items would fit in an SUV and that most all of there stops were under 20 miles so now they use the EV for over 90% of there deliveries.
